Access Recover Sustain (ARS) Access Specialist

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- High School Diploma - requirement
- Fluent in Spanish – requirement
- Plus if a Certified Medical Translator
- 2+ years of working in a call center
- Experience working in the medical field; behavioral health preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Organized with a strong attention to detail; able to multi-task and prioritize work
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all clients, AHS employees and community you interact with as an AHS employee.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming calls from clients & referral agencies; provides an immediate warm hand-off to appropriate staff and/or service
- Identifies pay sources & verifies insurance
- Assists with scheduling behavioral health appointments & intakes
- Enters new client demographics into electronic health record
- Provides direct access to personalized information to callers
- Understands agency services & provide information to callers
- Works collaboratively with in-house & referring agencies
- Works with Project Director to ensure operational capacities are met
- Performs other duties as requested
Shift Availability:
- Full-Time – Minimum of 40 hours per week (hourly)

- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as required per AHS policy
