Human Resource Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will aid multiple departments at the designated office location with various administrative duties. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring accurate and updated records are received to maintain store operations; answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate department to fulfill requests; and receiving, processing, updating, and reporting various documents required to maintain overall compliance. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS data entry.


  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing questions to the related department
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Process and report information required by the payroll department or insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Efficiently prepares office for meetings as requested by the director of operations or management teams.
  • Maintains accurate inventory count of store operation smallwares, uniforms, and office supplies.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Maintains employee files.
  • Processes mail.
