Assistance Programs

Shelby County Government Rent/Mortgage Assistance Program

Assists individuals and families in threat of eviction or foreclosure due to an extenuating circumstance(s) that occurred within 120 days of their application date based on the following criteria: Shelby County resident, a documented crisis in the last 120 days, household income above 150% & not to exceed 200%. Max awarded to each household $1,000.00. Ineligible if served in last year. Diversion utility bills ineligible.
