Organizational Model
At Latino Memphis, we
- help people connect with other agencies
- facilitate programs and services that will enhance the lives of our clients
- advocate for the needs of the community
Our organizational model fosters collaboration among agencies, avoids duplication of existing services, and promotes assimilation of new-comers.
Our focus on health, education and justice is based on three core actions: advocate, facilitate and connect.
- Advocate
We voice the needs of the community to officials, decision-makers, media and the community at large. - Facilitate
We strive to be efficient and effective by partnering with existing organizations. They bring their expertise and we bring ours. Together, we achieve more. - Connect
Through two power databases, Camino Seguro West and Conexión, we provide information such as who, when and how to call existing resources in our community. Latino Memphis also serves as the first point of contact to many new-comers when it comes to specific issues.
